1. Wound treatment

2. Inject the Human Rabies Immunoglobulin

The following three cases require immunoglobulin.

2.1 Immunoglobulin should be administered when the skin is penetrated, broken skin is licked, or an open wound or mucosa is licked (Grade III exposure).

2.2 Patients with severe immunodeficiency (clinical stage of HIV/AIDS, use of immunosuppressive agents for more than 1 month, etc.) should be injected regardless of whether the skin has been penetrated (Grade II or III exposure) without a history of immunization.

2.3 Immunoglobulin should be injected into stem cell transplant patients, even if they have a history of immunity, regardless of whether the skin is penetrated (Grade II or III exposure).

3. Rabies vaccine

Rabies vaccine is not only one shot, but through about 1 month to complete immunization, must be strictly in accordance with the rules of the time, can not be interrupted. There are currently two types of vaccines, the "5-shot" and the "4-shot" vaccine, and there is no particular difference in efficacy or adverse effects between the two.
